Activating the NDM+ Phone to TV Screencasting

 

Using the NDM+ WebApp’s built-in screencast function is free, fast, and easy:

1. Ensure that your phone and smart TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.

2. Open a film title or series episode that you want to watch from the NDM+ library of shows.

​

3. As the show launches it will automatically detect your smart TV or projector. Tap the Cast Icon on upper left corner of the player.

​

4. Select your TV or projector from the list of available devices.

​​

Using your phone’s screen mirroring features:

1. For Android phones, swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings and find options like “Smart View”, “Screencast”. 

​

2. On iPhones, open the control center and tap “Screen Mirroring” (the two overlapping squares).

​

3. Select your TV from the list of devices. Your phone’s entire screen will be mirrored on the TV.

You may also use an HDMI adapter to watch NDM+ from your phone to your TV:

1. Purchase a compatible adapter (e.g. USB-C to HDMI or Lightning to HDMI).

​

2. Connect the adapter to your phone.

​

3. Plug an HDMI cable into the adapter and connect the other end to an available HDMI port on your TV.

​

4. Use your TV remote to switch the input to the correct HDMI source.​​
